Default Help!! PT 12.5 running slow while other sessions are ok!

Here's my specs:
Mac Mini (about a year old), Yosemite
8gb Ram
300 of 1000gb used
PT 12.5

This is the first time I've ran into this after I've had PT about a year:

I made a session, and it ran fine for the first week, but now editing takes about 3 seconds to implement! I ran permissions repair, and rebooted. Same.

I'm also getting the "Physical RAM is running low" screen. I checked and there is about 4 gig left. The only apps open are PT, UAD and my RME interface. Nothing was changed in "Setup" or anyplace else.

The strange thing is is that any other sessions run smoothly with the same number of plugins/effects running, and I don't get the "low Ram" notification on those sessions.

Is it because I'm doing alot of editing? Anybody have an answer?

Did you try trashing preferences?

Chris, Do I delete all the 'plist' files or just the ones relative to protools?

Hi kbillones,

I tried tried copying the folder, no success. I'll probably do what you suggested as a last resort. I would have to redo all my effects parameters though, which is why I'm trying other things, unless anyone has a different thought.

If I trash all the preferences, will I lose all the settings on my 'Artist Control'?

oh I see. if you could try to disable all the plugins and edit. try to monitor your session and see if you still have problems. then try re-enabling your plugins one by one and then edit until you see error or any problems.

Question Re: Help!! PT 12.5 running slow while other sessions are ok!

Clip List Menu-->Show-->Auto-Created, then Clip List Menu-->Select-->Unused, then Shift+Command+B (delete).

Did removing all of the unused auto-created clips make a difference?

Hi Chief, When I isolated the clips to just show "Auto-Created", no clips showed up.

Cwsand: I deleted all those files that they suggested from that link. Still no difference.

I disabled all the plugins like kbillons said and it seemed to run a little faster, but no where near the speed of the other sessions.
