Yeah, regarding the missing red clipping indicators, I believe that is a fairly recent change and I am kind of on the fence. I recently did some testing and its still quite easy(if you abuse things) to get fuzzy or distorted sound without any red on meters for a visual indication. I've done this long enough that its not an issue here, but there are an entire generation of up and coming users without that knowledge/experience. Kudos for digging in and learning new things!! This place is a constant learning experience
