Re: Could Not Complete the \"Bounce to Disk....
Hi,
What do you have your DAE playback buffer set to? Usually the default of 2 is best. I have seen this assertion error on a bounce when the DAE playback buffer is set to 8. Hope this helps. Thanks, Digidesign Tech Support |

ummm... THANKS DigiTech! I have had this issue too (about 100 times)... and "yes" my DAE buffer setting was "8." Changing it back to "2" allowed me to bounce(!) I'm really kinda speechless... i'm currently in the process of reinstalling "my life" back to a reformatted start-up drive and when that bounce error popped up, my heart just sank.... I'll keep on keeping on, i guess. jim = |

Re: Could Not Complete the \"Bounce to Disk....
Just another thought - the boot drive needs to have ample space. I believe that any bounces to disk (including bounce to movie), create a temp file on the boot drive 1st. So you need at least the size of the bounced file, available on the boot drive.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I've had problems bouncing when I tried to get away with a smaller boot partition, though it may have come with a more appropriate warning. |
