I'd also like MIDI regions to behave more like audio regions, eg if I shorten a region I'd like ALL THE NOTES in it shortened to the same place as the end of the region, instead of them hanging on like a bunch of unwanted b@stards.

Can't you just look at your mix window?

and here we have logic again:

a function called 'clip length', if marked overhanging notes stop at region end

How can you tell which are TDM and which are RTAS without opening every single plug-in?

Ok How about....

Folders in the Track List (I have well over 100 channels of VI's that run outside PT/Logic, impossible to find in the current Hide/Show Tracks Model)

Keycommands for executing time tempo event list macros (eg split notes Top, Split notes Bottom), Quantize Elastic audio events with certain template, Transpose one octave up, a minor third down, etc

List Style tempo editor with bar/beat and smpte locations

Can PT please direct itself to its root directory consistently when importing Audio files?

Show video Frame rate in small track view, automatically change timecode rate to incoming video rate

Option to import audio from movie as stereo or two mono tracks for splits
