Default Problems with interface

I just got the M-Audio F/W 410 Interface. After loading pro tools le 7.1 and adjusting my volume i start to work. After a while if i want to adjust my monitor level i cant do it by the volume knob on the front face plate, instead i have to do it through the software interface located in my control panel.
Any Ideas?

Not familiar with that but possibly there is a setting which allows the hardware control to sync with the software control... so that when you turn up the hardware, the software would follow suit also? I'm sure somebody who uses the 410 will know but didn't know if you wanted to wait for their post. Good luck.
