Default Focusrite Scarlett 2i2/PT11 crash

After finding a work around for my ElevenRack into USB3.0 issue on my laptop (Dell XPS, i5 2.5GHz, 6GB ram, 500GB 7200rpm, Win7 Home Premium 64bit) I am now running the amp out of the 11R into a Scarlett 2i2. Now as soon as I arm the track and start to record, PT11 crashes and gives a AAE 9060 error or just crashes and exits the program in general. I have never had an issue with my desktop (home build i5 3.5GHz, 16GB ram, 500GB 7200rpm HDD, 3TB 7200rpm storage HDD, Win7 home premium 64bit) and the 11R/ProTools11.

The way my house is arranged, it would be a huge hassle to move my desktop down to my basement recording area. I would really like to get my laptop recording set up working.

Everything has the newest drivers and Windows is updated accordingly.
