protools won't open on my new mac

Im having a similar issue, brand new 27" iMac i7. Running protools 8.0.3 cs2. I can install protools fine, and it will launch properly. The second I try to click anything within the session though I get the beach ball. I have tried both 10.6.2 and 10.6.3 with bluetooth on and off and every USB port.

This is a known Digi/Avid issue that I discovered a while ago. It's not a matter of just having bluetooth on or off, it's knowing when to toggle it on or off. See my original post.

I just happened on that thread. Doesn't seem to be a solution yet. The bluetooth toggle seems to be working for now.

If you have anything connected to the ethernet port try disconnecting it.

toggling bluetooth by itself didn't work, but when I detached the ethernet cable, bingo.

Protools started right up. Thanks guys, you are the best.

I also found that trying to use itunes output through the mbox doesn't work until I disable bluetooth. I can start up itunes fine, it'll play 2 seconds, and then stop passing audio. As soon as I disable bluetooth, it comes back.
