frequent crash when editing

My lovely PT LE8 crashes regularly when I'm editing audio tracks with TCE or Autotune5. Only PT is affected, not the OS or other apps if running (Safari).
I haven't found much related info in the duc posts or the Apple support pages. I've moved 3rd party plug-ins from the plug-ins folder to rule out those as causes. (except for Autotune5) The plug-in's are all up to date versions and purported to be compatible with PTLE8 even if they were released before PTLE8 was released (??).
The Crash Report is consistent:

I'd like to decipher the Crash Report. It must contain useful info in finding the cause. Can anyone tell me how this can be done? Or, if this is a valid approach to solving the problem.

Okay, it's a tough one. How about this: Is there a known problem with Autotune5 rtas in ProtoolsLE8 causing crashes? The Crash reports don't mention Autotune but Antares came out with the upgraded Evo before PTLE8 came out. No more attention to AT5 then?
