Default Student edition difference?

Just purchased the pro tools 9 student edition.
Is there any difference between this and the actual pro tools 9 software, or is it just the licensing/ pricing?
Cheers guys,
Adam

Only the pricing, it's the exact same software.

Don't forget the most important difference (after the price): You agree that your student edition will not be used for any commercial purposes. That means if you use it for anything where you charge someone or you create any works that you intend to charge someone for, you are in violation of your agreement.

Actually I've been told by AVID that there is no restriction on using the student copy for commercial uses. The license for academic institutions may be different- but I was told students are basically free to use the software in the same manner as the commercial license as long as they are in school.

It's not inconceivable that a music student will use Pro Tools to release a record of his/her work- for example, and that they would collect royalties on such a work. Or that an engineering student might charge their friends (some recording schools actually allow students to make money renting studio space extracurricularly) - or that a student would freelance or perform work in conjunction with a paid internship, possibly to put themselves through school. It's all part of the learning process.

Maybe someone from AVID can clear this up on this thread?
