Default Pro Tools LE 8.0.3 not recognizing M-Audio Oxygen 25 MIDI Keyboard (W/ Sandra Report)

Pro Tools LE 8.0.3 not recognizing M-Audio Oxygen 25 MIDI Keyboard.

* HP Pavilion a1220n 2.93 Ghz Intel Pentium 4
* Windows XP (SP3)
* M-Box 2
* Pro Tools 8.0.3
* 1.49 GB RAM
* USB Powered Seagate Free Agent 1TB Hard Drive
* I have tried all of the troubleshooters on the M-Audio website. I have updated the Driver for the Oxygen 25. The controller is showing in the Hardware Device Manager. I downloaded the MIDI-OX program and the controller is functioning properly and being recognized by the computer. In Pro Tools, I have the Peripherals setting on M-Audio Keyboard and both In and Out on Oxygen 25.

Default Re: Pro Tools LE 8.0.3 not recognizing M-Audio Oxygen 25 MIDI Keyboard (W/ Sandra Rep

**UPDATE**

I have found the problem I was having.

I guess in the new Pro Tools 8.0.3 you now have to have the Record button enabled to hear any sound coming from that channel on an Instrument track. I have never had to have the Record button enabled to enable MIDI before, so this is different, lol.

It's as simple as that.

I hope this may help someone else.
