Cant trash preferences for 6.0...help please..
Troubleshooting tips:
-Trash Pro Tools preferences Go to Users > “your user name” > Library > Preferences and trash DAE Prefs, DigiSetup.OSX and Pro Tools LE 6.0 prefs. Then restart the CPU. I've trashed these files but they keep returning every time I load up a pro-tool session..why? Digi design also suggests trashing the Database file> Volume.db This also returns after a session. Im running a duel 867mac. OS 10.2.6. Pro tools crashes quite a bit now and can not run while i-tunes is open. Can anyone help me? |

Re: Cant trash preferences for 6.0...help please..
the preferences are supposed to return every time you start pro tools up. im not sure why trashing them helps but its supposed to. them coming back isn't a bad thing. do you have the core audio drivers installed? if so, get rid of them.

Thanks...there must be somthing else wrong. When I go to the IO set up and change the paths to mono, switching back to the default setting crashes is my pro tools every time.
