Default How to disable plugins in PT11

Good day PTists,

If I dig hard enough, I'd probably find a solution to this. But, this forum is also great for finding solutions.

I use both PT11 and 10 and under PT11, I installed 2 of about 6 plugins that Antares tech produces. Their plugins are different in the sense that they install ALL the plugins they produce and you only buy the license for the plugs you intend to use. So I am using 2 of probably 6 or so that are installed. When stuff like this happened in Pt10, you usually would be greeted upon bootup with a "Do you want to move this to a disabled directory?" If you did this, you would never get hounded again about that plugin. In PT11, yesterday I mistakenly went into a plug I didnt have an ilok license for and... well... PT11 seems to hate that.. It croaked on me..Had I not saved my work, I would have lost it. So I want to somehow disable or move the plugins so I can ONLY select the plugs I have license for. Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks! Joe

Go to this folder:
Code:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
Select the plug-ins you wish not to use, and then move them to this folder:
Code:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins (Unused)

PT 11.1.1 is too smart for that. It simply redirect to where the plugins are located.
