Default PC Eucon...which fonts actually work?

Hi Guys,

Running Eucon 3.01 on my pc with the following specs:
Main machine, intel i7 Harpertown 3,4 ghz sixcore with 32gb, Windows 7 x64 and running Nuendo 6.06 x64, Eucon 3.01, MC Artist

I used to run Eucon on the Mac, as it seems the UI on the touchscreen is much clearer when running it from a mac. There also seem to be a lot more font options. Unfortunately I've had to revert to using Eucon on my PC, and the differences are pretty major.

So far I've not been able to figure out what fonts actually work, other than Arial and Segoe UI.
The font selector offers up the entire font collection on my system, but very few seem to work or make any difference on the actual MC Artist Screen.
Is there a list of fonts that actually work?

Cheers,

Joe

No. We honestly have not gone through the entire library. But the rule of thumb is to keep the font simple.

Hello, I had exactly the same question so I created softkeys to represent the fonts wich actually works (that are different from Arial).

In the selector, you have to choose "normal'" for the font type. The other types don't work.

Here is a PDF file containing the code for 9 screens of 24 softkeys wich illustrate the fonts (the basic fonts in the Windows folder):

- copy all the text of the PDF in the Notepad, then save the document Under the name NOTEPAD.XML

- Copy the NOTEPAD.XML file in C:\Users\Your_Profile\AppData\Roaming\Euphonix\Use rSets\MC2User\MC_USER_SET__Root\

- Launch the Notepad. The Artist Control screen should show you the fonts. The last screen shows the special fonts (symbols.... )

If a font is absent in your computer, it will be automatically replaced by the Arial Font.

Hope this helps
