PRO TOOLS 7.4 download

i purchased my LE mbox2 pro in 2006. i recently upgraded to windows 8. ive moved twice since 2006 and i cant find my installation disc. ive seen other threads very similar to mines but the "solution" ive read was to go and download it if i registered. well I DID REGISTER all my "factory bundle" piece by piece and i STILL CANT DOWNLOAD it. when i go to "my products on my profile it says i have no downloads. yet they have my activation code in "lost LE activation code" tab.
Also when i go here https://www.avid.com/US/support/support-contact and hit the "downloads" tab i get this error code "Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset." everywhere where it relates to downloading, avid creates an error. i installed java so thats not it. how in the world can i get my product back on if avid is making it this hard to download the product i legally purchased from them. totally unreasonable from their part. wished i wouldve went to cubase when i was adviced to back in 06 :/

You do not automatically have downloads in your account when you purchase and register hard copies of the software... only when you buy electronically. However, Avid is pretty accommodating at providing a download link when you contact them directly in situations like yours.
