Default OT Stools.. I mean chairs

So I guess since I played drums in an earlier life that I've been using a drum throne for sitting when recording and mixing. I like that it has no sides and swings around easy.

Problem is its killing my back.

Anybody got a recommendation for a seat that I can mix (and play guitar) in that's comfortable.

Carl

Try Office Depoit,, I got a real great chair from there for cheap,,.... I'm looking on it now,, but I can't seem to find any brand name or Model number or anything.

But it does exactly what you are saying by haveing a real great, firm, yet comfortable seat(buttocks area), and a real small but yet perfectly supporting back support. And it has NO arm rests or sides of ANY kind. So it does for me what the bigger "exectutive room" chairs do for comfort, but with no arm rests or sides, and such a small back area it doesn't get in the way for playing the guitar, and drums, etc.... It is on rollers as well, and it turns, and slides with wonderful ease......

But just go to your local Office Depoit, or similar place like that, and look around,, that's what I did. And the chair was on sale for $49.99 + Tax !!!!!!

Hope this helps ya

I had the same problem and finally spent the money on a better drum throne with a backrest. What an improvement!
