ProTools 8 LE and the 002R Interface
Has anyone had intermittent issues with the 002R not being found? I am running PT 8 LE with a 002R interface and a new iMac (Intel-based). This has not happened while I am actually in ProTools. It sometimes happens when I go to launch either ProTools or iTunes. When I check the Output devices for the iMac it mysteriously disappears. But then if I turn the 002R off and then back on again it shows up again. Does anyone know what causes that to happen?

I use 002R with a G5 and PTLE8. The 002R needs to be on for a few seconds before I launch PTLE. Otherwise it's always recognized.
