Default 003 return faders to unity?

I have a Command|8 that if you hold the option button and tap faders, they return to zero, as though you'd option-clicked them on screen. This is one the most usef features of the C8. I bought a 003 and this feature is gone. Is there another way to return them to unity without using the mouse?

Hi Dan,
when I had a demo at local UK dealers , that was one of the first things I noticed. Dealer had no idea, and hadn't noticed !!
As you say, it is a function that, were I to P/X up from my 002, I would sorely miss.....does no-one bother with gain structure nowadays then ??? !!!!

Not surprised about that...

Now I wonder if its possible for Digi to include this option into a future Firmware upgrade (?)

Should be possible.

You still have the ability to press the Default button and click the Track Select button for a channel whose fader you want to return.

Fab—I'll try that tonight. I haven't RTFM, I admit. I bought it in haste and am on a crazy project, so I simply haven't had the time.

Yeah I still feel the Command 8 is a great unit for what it is and the 003 Console picked up some nice additions.
The good thing is if you are up to speed on the Command then the 003 is easy since it's pretty much the same flow.
I really hope that Digi adds some of the new functions to the Command by making use of the Shift button or additional implementation of the "F" keys.
Still wouldn't have a Jog/Shuttle but they could easily do the things like mode select.
At worst they should give the "F" keys back the function they have on your keyboard so that you can use the keyboard short cuts.
