So this issue started as soon as I upgraded to Sequoia either 15 or 15.1 (not certain ).And PT 2024.10.1. (Note I skipped Sonoma altogether). went from PT I think PT 2024.3.1 On Ventura (which had no issues)
Also I do not know if being on an Intel iMac has anything to do with it ?"

Now again I have only the single Carbon interface unit So I have never used Carbon Central and see no need to utilize it (UNLESS that somehow would fix my issue ) But in any case I am running a series of thest to see if the workarounds will help because having to uninstall PT and reinstall is the Pits

I would love to be able to shut my system down go a few days then start and have Carbon recognized Like before (because I am not a Pro and do not use my system everyday)

So update what has finally been and the fastest znd most consistent workaround is Starting from from Complete shutdown IS::
Power on Carbon > Power on iMac THEN toggle OFF and ON Wifi ---- then launch PT and bingo Carbon shows
