Default path definitions error

"some paths were made inactive because they could not be assigned existing path definitions"

i always get this message on opening sessions, and even when i reset the offending paths to "no input" they revert back to the old, non-existent inputs when i reopen the session. how can i stop this from happening?

i'm on a mac pro, snow leopard, pro tools 9. thanks!!

Hi,

I see this quite a lot since the new i/o setup arrived pt 8.1 i usually have to go to the i/o setup and untick a path thats duplicated. or sometimes tick a path thats not been selected, but is assigned on a track somewhere. or sometimes its been a hidden + de-active track in the session that has a path thats not available. the hidden + de-active track is a pain as it used to forget about paths on un-active tracks but now it still tries to connect them.

yeah, it seems like a bug we'll have to live with for now, cause even when i straighten out the i/o in the i/o window and re-assign tracks, it still comes up wrong the next time i open the session...
