Re: Who Isnt Getting Noise from their Mbox?
I was one of the first people with noise issues. My noise issue got resolved by a combination of installing Service Pack 1 fully, a new power supply for my comp (nothing fancy just better than the stock clone one) and switching to the USB 2.0 port (even though Mbox is Usb 1.1). I did all three pretty much simultaneously so never really figured out which of the three got rid of the noise, my guess is Service pack 1 however.
However I still get occasional tics during recording that i have to manually fix by redrawing the little part of the waveform. Otherwise Mbox has been working like a charm. I say go for it! |
