Default Auto Mac downloads
"MacInTouch users will want to be aware of this: Apple will automatically download macOS Sierra on Macs starting today. Only if you've got enough space and have automatic downloads turned on."

You may want to check your App Store prefs. I'd recommend turning off the auto downloads.
