WAV uncompressed PCM:
24-bit Bit depth
48 kHz sampling rate
2034kbps bitrate
Bounce to drive at same quality
DAW Protools 10

VS, MP3 and bounce as Mp3 at highest quality encoding at 320Kbps

Intended use is for Internet.

Bottom line i think is that the source audio file should be recorded at the highest quality using highest audio formats possible, because , Internet sites ,eg; facebook Youtube will compress to suit them
selves .

Yes absolutely if you can pick up the same source material then go for that uncompressed PCM source material.... if that was the question. There is no down side to you.

Check online about things like getting best bitrate playback on YouTube, lots of info out there, some contradictory/possibly out of date. On paper at least you might be border line if you should give youtube something better than that MP3 for best encoding with HD video, but there is lots of confusion out there about what exactly YouTube does. Might be good stuff for some experiments or reading what tests others have done recently.
