Instead of wasting your time and ours with cross posting this childish tirade to many groups on this forum maybe you could have engaged your brain and started by searching DUC for "user does not exist". And seen that it is not an unknown problem from people entering an invalid iLok number. Is that your problem? Who knows, but working through that as a suspect is the obvious thing for you to do next.

And please stop the cross posting.

... and thereby not having to pay for additional employees.

Anybody with any knowledge of economics knows that increased costs are not simply "eaten" by the company; they are passed along to the customers.

An I am personally glad that I am not being forced to pick up the costs required to support someone who enters an iLok serial number when the documentation clearly states that it is the iLok user name that should be entered...

I do not work for Avid (their loss)...my only relationship with Avid is that of a customer (when I'm not too poor to buy stuff, like now)...and that hot administrative assistant...that's more of a "thing" than a "relationship" (that should keep them guessing for a while...)

Just rockin'...what more is there?

Dude - you don't need to post this in multiple forums or subforums. Once is enough, thank you. Even the TOS states to only post a question once in the appropriate forum.

It would be nice with a simple contact form with quick response without having to pay.
However, the best support is from other users and the administrators here.

This is something I have thought about to. I would be great if we could post images in the message. A picture says more than a thousand words they say. On the other hand I can se this being misused. It probably would mean more administration to weed out off topic images, etc.

To the original poster - does the 'iLok serial number vs. iLok user name' scenario possibly apply to you? Did that get you sorted?

Indeed, that's one of a few reasons we don't have that capability, though it IS something we want to add to the forums.

In the meantime, it's a simple thing to upload the image using any number of image hosting services and post a link to it. Not ideal, but it gets the job done.
