iLok Asset I'm using it with is the
"Avid Complete Plug-In Bundle (26)"
that renews when another year is added to update/support plan (I have a perpetual license for Ultimate)

I have 6 other Space licenses that are non-expirable (not a gifted subscription as part of keeping on the support plan) but those aren't in use.

(Plus I have 2 other Space licenses that show the publisher name "Avid TLL Products" instead of "Avid"; I believe those are the iLok assets that only work with the older Space plugin versions and not the current)

I'm on Native only: Avid Link 21.6 now offers v18.8

Wondering if there’s an 18.8 (Native + DSP) in your Avid Link ?

Do you have Hybrid Engine On?

I have very similar set up, HDX2 and on Mojave, but in my case I don't have Space DSP available. I just tried it with Hybrid Eng off, restarted the pro tools and then Space DSP magically reappears!?

Yes, if Hybrid Engine is ON, Space DSP is unavailable.

This goes back to the stupid fact that the Carbon doesn't support Space DSP and the Hybrid Engine was partially designed for that. (Guessing it has to do with using multiple chips.)

So any of us now using Hybrid on HDX, you lose some plugins like Space. Of course Avid could fix this
Me, I'm not using Hybrid. For multi-card HDX users, until you are running out of voices, there are more downsides than upsides.
(would rather they release the HDX firmware that allowed more voices per card but that seems now part of the dustbin of history that Avid isn't going to come back to.)
