Ableton Live 8.4 Beta (Native 64-bit)

Heads up for anyone that missed the news. Ableton are running a public native 64-bit beta for registered Live 8, Suite 8, Live Intro or Live Lite 8 users. I've been running Live 8.0.4b2 all morning and she's pretty stable for a beta straight out of the blocks.

I'm assuming you are using it in stand-alone. PT is still 32bit and you cant rewire 64bit Ableton live to 32bit pro tools.

Can I use ReWire with the 64-bit version of Live?

Yes, ReWire (with Live as either master or slave) works properly, but can only be used when ReWired to another application that is also 64-bit.

That is correct. 32-bit Host to 32-bit ReWire Client. Ableton Live still should support a 32-bit host.
