Default PT9.05 ilok error

'this version of pro tools requires that you update your ilok driver...."
is the message I get after installing PT9.05

I downloaded the latest ilok release and installed and rebooted and still get this error when starting pro tools 9.05.

what should i do?

that is the one I am using....I'm not sure the installation finishes successfully though. It starts up and runs for awhile but then disappears without any confirmation that it finished correctly. Not sure how to proceed now???

Have you tried running the installer and Pro Tools as administrator (right click and select 'Run As Administrator)?

yes, i tried right-clicking and running as administrator and it starts the install and then blinks away after about a minute with no confirmation that it has finished. I think the problem is that it did not finish correctly

Yeap, i can say 9.05 error same problem here on win7 sp. 1

I was able to solve this by unplugging the ilock waiting about 1 min or 2, than reconnecting the ilock, that did it for me!
