Default Floor controller like this for 11R

This floor controller has been designed for the Axe -Fx and uses magnetic labels for each foot switch. Wonder if something like this would be good for the 11R?

Yes, a foot controller designed for the 11R is a much asked for request over here. For now we have to wait. As far as the labels go, it seems to be a third party making this stuff for Fractal's controller. Or you could try and use the MFC-101 with the 11R, and buy the labels accordingly.

Cool idea. The term "super spiffy" comes to mind. (As much as it makes me feel weird to say it! )

The only other idea I had was to actually make one myself based on a few ideas I know I would want:

1. LED screen on foot controller that displays rig name and also the tuner
2. Simply up/down and select pedals for the rig presets
3. 6 pedals in stomp mode so you can turn stuff on or off - plus a seperate pedal for the tuner function.
4. Expression pedal

So basically that is a 10 pedal plus expression pedal controller, would be very similar to the FCB1010 as that has an excellent foot print for live work.

Hi Guys,

While its not available for the rack, IK multimedia has a pretty neat product out there.

http://www.ikmultimedia.com/stompio/features/

I think this is the type of product your looking for - a hardware controller for the 11 Rack would be the ultimate addition to this already excellent product. I have little incentive to use my rack live, but with something like that I would imagine no reason to NOT bring it out.

I am enthralled with the rack. I use it almost every day at my home studio, even if it is just for practice, tone searching, noodling, tracking. It's the staple in my home studio.

You do know that there is some pretty cool foot board controllers out there with expression pedals that do work with 11? On youtube, I found this:

I use the same MAudio expression pedals, I don't like them, they feel cheap *insert chirping here*, but they do work. My first one out of the box was broken, so maybe I'm jaded. Had to exchange it.

Anyways, I tend to babble, so slap me. Aside from the display linking to the rack, I think you can do what you want to do!

I'd buy one immediately.

I'd be interested in a controller that could be phantom powered from 11r, could display tuner information, preset names, could retrieve status information regarding CC on/off, etc.

Is this even possible? The 11R only has a 5-pin MIDI connection. For the MIDI phantom power, wouldn't you need a 7 pin connection? unless i am mistaken...
