I find no spyware is Sisoft, at all..... It didn't load anything else when I installed it.

The guy who sold me the system is gonna fix it under warranty, and this time leave me a ghost of the original install as well. Even better he is paying shipping to Melbourne and back (over 2500kms each way)

Almost two years ago I had serious PC problems ( not only then ) and was on my way to dowload Sisoft Sandra when I came to see comments of some German PC geeks who were saying that they found that program deep in the guts of the system to send out system information. That´s why I stood away from it since then.

Now that you asked me I googled to find those comments back and although waisted almost half an hour on it couldn´t find a single link anywhere.
In the same time I checked in the highly knowledged and most reputated computer site that I know of, and as they seem to speak unsuspicious of that program and provide a link to it everything appears to be alright so far.

So, just forget about my comment. It was well meant, but probably not right.

PS: Besides there are spy files written in a way that they prevent ad-aware of detecting it. If you want to exclude that you would need to install its supplement AAW-Cloak and run that before opening AAW. Just in case you weren´t aware yet.

I did a search on Yahoo, and found quite a few references to spyware in Sisoft Sandra, but in earlier versions. Nothing recent.

I'm having the identical problem you describe with my P4 2.4 ghz laptop. The 9128 error everytime I start adding a few plugins. Please let me know if you find a resolution. I'll do the same.
