Default PT10 resets plugins from older versions+freeze problem

Hi everyone! I installed a few days ago Windows 7 (from XP) and PT10 (from 8LE). It all went smooth but I'm having a problem. The old sessions (version 8 .ptf) open with no problems but if I save to either to .ptx (using save) or even .ptf (using save in), some plugins are reset to the factory default. The plugins that are mostly affected are Waves EQ6 and Waves delay (version 6). The session has other Waves plugins from version 6, like EQ2, 4, etc, and from version 8 and 9, but these are not affected. I tried resetting the affected plugings after saving to .ptx or .ptf (one by one!) but they reset to default after reopening the session. It's a pain in the ass because I would like to continue working on these sessions but I can't even save them! Any ideas?

I just remembered another problem I'm having. When using Waves SSL4000 (version 9) it will sometimes freeze the computer (the PT screen will freeze and the mouse will not work, nor will Cntrl+Alt+Del work) and I would have to force the computer to restart.
