Hi
I about to use A mac and a PC on my desk, Can I connect the Mbox through both firewires? one for the Mac one for the PC? If so, can both machines be on? or one has to be turned off? I'm not gonna use it together, but I prefer not to turn either of the machines off. Thanks ![]() |

no. second is for daisy-chaining a hard drive for example.

Also, be sure not to hotplug the 6-pin firewire connector. A design flaw in that connector type (all 6-pin firewire, not Avid specifically) can allow the connector to go in crooked and short pins, frying the interface or your firewire card.
