SO... Programs, System Cache or Background Services?
From the Digidesign Windows XP Optimization Guide:
"Then click on the Advanced tab and set both Processor Scheduling and Memory Usage to 'Programs.' " Yet, we're taught by 97 different audio/DAW websites that Processor Scheduling and Memory Usage should be set to Background Services and System Cache, respectively... I'm confused. Which one is it, then? UPDATE: detailed answer here: http://www.moozek.com/2008/08/21/def...ing-for-audio/ |
