Default Multi-Band Compressor

Any suggestions on what to go with? Obviously budget is a concern, and the MC2000 by McDsp looks like the most cost efficient one I have seen. Does anyone have one they recommend?

My room is ultra-bright from 3k-5k. I need a multi-band to deal with this brightness on female vocals.
