Default recording midi data

I have a Protools toolbox in a G4. I use a motu midi device to send data from my protools sequencer to keyboards, soundmodules, etc. The motu is connected to the G4 through a usb. Now I am trying to send (record)midi data from a keyboard (sequencer)into my protools sequencer. Can anyone help me do this? I haven't been able to get it to work.

Default Re: recording midi data

Have you added the keyboard as a Controller in your OMS Setup?

If so, is it enabled in the "Input Devices" window in Pro Tools' MIDI menu?
