Default midi sync with pro tools and mpc1000 help

the mpc is the slave of course, but when i start it with protools the mpc only plays it for a millisecond to 7 secpnds if im lucky. y does it stop like that? is there something im doing wrong as far as the options in each of them?

check your frames etc etc - oh and your start time in both PT and MPC. This used to cause me issues with PT III and an MPC2000 many years ago!
