Quick Pro Tools 8 question

I bought a copy of the new Pro Tools LE 8 and was just wondering if I can use the registration code twice on two different machines in my house. The machines are currently being wiped and rebooted with leopard and vista, or else I'd just install and see if it worked twice...but until then I was hoping someone could help me out.

Yes you can, essentially it's the hardware that acts as the dongle.

I have a Macbook Pro and I partitioned it 50/50 with OSX Leopard on one side and Windows XP Professional SP3 on the other. I successfully installed Pro Tools LE 7.4 on both sides with my 7.4 disc and authorization code but when I updated to 8 on the Windows side, I was unable to update to 8 on the Mac side because it said the activation code I recieved in my email for PT8 had already been used/registered (on the Windows side). If I can install 7.4 on more than one machine/OS, shouldn't I be able to update to 8 on more than one machine/OS? If not, does anyone know how I can un-register PT8 on my Windows side so that I can use the same activation code on the Mac side to upgrade to 8? Any info would be helpfull.

I think you may be confused with the activation code you receive when registering digi hardware etc. If you have registered your Pro Tools 8 activation online then login to my digi, you should have serial numbers and all the installer downloads available to you. The serial is the same for mac and PC.

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific; the code for the link to the Pro tools 8 download that I received in my email will not allow me to access the download again, even though it's the Leopard version. It says that the code has already been used and therefore I can't use the only code I received for the upgrade more than once? Only once on one OS? The 7.4 disc I have has both Windows and Mac OS install. I need a new code or something.
