Default Opinion on McDSP Plugins needed?

Hi All
Im looking at buying some / all of the McDSP plugins for my LE system. Im wondering if I should go with the Project Studio pack which has them all in the LE variety, or to get the Emerald or Classic Packs. Its mainly the Analog Channel im interested in, but the new MC4000 sounds great as does the Filter Bank, Compressor Bank and Revolver.
However I already own the Sony Oxford 6 Pack, Waves Platinum and Waves SSL Bundles, URS S series EQ and URS Channel strip and the Music Production Toolkit which has the Native version of TL Space.
I guess Im wondering if the McDSP plugins will be a worth while addition to my plugin arsenal or if frankly im wasting my money?
Thanks

The LE version of Analog Channel is too limited. It only includes AC2 and even that is a stripped down version of the AC2. You'll want the full version. Analog Channel LE

Get the TDM version of AC1 and AC2. It will include the full RTAS plug-in. The LE version is very limited.

In that case would it be better for me to buy the Native Classic Pack?
The Native Analog Channel is going to cost about $650 AU, where as the Classic Pack which also includes the Native versions of Compressor Bank, Filter Bank and MC2000 for $1050 AU.
How do you guys find the other plugs that Ive listed?

I like the McDSP plugins, but I think there are better plugins to do what each McDSP plugin does. In my opinion, you all ready have most of your bases covered with the Waves, URS, and Oxford series.

Have you tried out the demos for the McDSP plugins? What do you feel the filter and compressor banks can offer you that you don't all ready have? Like you said, the Analog Channel would probably serve you the best out of all of them, and possibly the multiband compressor as well. Chrome Tone is cool too.

Check 'em out, and see if they can bring you something that you can't get with the plugins you have. If they can, it's up to you whether or not they merit the money.

Although they're nice, sound good and I like all the McDSP stuff, there are other plugs that I either have as other bundles or are cheaper and can accomplish close enough to the same sound than most of the McDSP stuff.

With the exception of Analog Channel. IMHO, I've not found anything else that accomplishes what it does and sounds as good. But like they said, you WILL want the full version. Their "LE" version ( which isn't meant as a relationship to PT LE; it means it's McDSP's Limited Edition.....) is too limited. AC2 is cool........but AC1 is the "sound".

McDSP has announced a "native" product line, so the "full" feature set might soon become slightly cheaper. Original full versions are now already called "HD" in the iLok system.
