Click Track not working.....

Hello,
I'm Frank, on a 2017 iMac Pro with Pro Tools 2021.12.

I have thoroughly followed the former thread titled,

"Click track has mysteriously stopped working".

I've taken almost every idea from that thread and tried it:
eg,
Checking the Metronome Icon,
Deleting the click track and inserting a new one,
Checking the 'Click/Countoff' interface and checking the box that says
'Click: During play and record'.

I've experimented with every setting on the 'Click/Countoff' interface,
And still my metronome does not work.

FYI, there's no signal at all. Just nothing except that the click track is there and in place.

Nevermind !! I highlighted the icon and this time, it worked !

Not sure why it all of the sudden works....Thanks
