Default Trying to start PT LE 5.2 in classic on OS X

Hi there,

I'm trying to run PT LE 5.2 on a OSX computer. It starts classic mode and then starts loading PT LE. But then it gives a DEA -6009 error. The answer-base says I should "boot off of OS 9". Is running classic mode enough, and should I be looking for different options, or is there a way to restart OSX in a sort of "OS 9 Mode".

I'm not used to working with Macs, so please forgive me if I'm asking silly questions.

Yours,
Andra

It will not run in OSX at all. If you can't boot your computer up in OS9 you'll have to upgrade your version of Pro Tools to version 6...

Hi there,

Thanks for your help. It turned out that OS 9 was installed on a different harddisk. Under preferences I could choose what disk I wanted to boot from. I choose the OS 9 disk and rebooted. OS 9 loaded and Pro Tools LE worked fine.

Thanks again,

Andra
