New DAW Setup – 2022 iMac 24” Ok?

Mac Studios are fabulous. They have their quirks - they ARE computers - but, for me? The really big deal is they work - and you can throw just about any plugin at 'em - and multiple instances of ferocious CPU hog plugins - and they just work.
There's weirdness with USB and definitely USB2.
Sometimes I have to put mine to sleep a couple times to get it to rest.
Like a drugged racehorse that doesn't wanna stop.
Opening Pro Tools still seems slow. Once it opens, though, it just works and keeps working.
Having used Pro Tools since long before it was Pro Tools, this is nothing short of a miracle.
Knock on wood. In shallah. God willing and the gremlins don't rise.
