MBOX2 Audio Pass-through

Hi,
New to the forum so please be kind!
Was wondering if it is possible to have an audio feed coming through the mbox when pro tools isn't running?
Basically have digital piano which is connected through, works fine in pro tools, both midi and audio out.
Am getting my 2-year-old interested in the piano, and want to be able to fire up the pc and play very quickly, she doesn't have the patience to wait for pro-tools to open up, PC is a few years old so takes a while.
Is there any solution to this please? PC sounds work fine, so can;t help but think it's possible, but have tried every combination I could think of? Or is there a more simple config app which you can use?

Thanks, but should have said I've got an mbox 2 pro, doesn't have the mix knob sadly. Any other ideas?

Sampletank Free runs stand-alone and has a piano.

I don't remember for certain but Kontakt Player might have a piano too.

Or, you could make the Mbox the default windows inputs and outputs so it will route audio through the k-mixer.

Aha! How about a pair of computer speakers off the digital piano headphone jack(no need to even turn the computer on)?
