Default DV Toolkit 2 problem upon install.

OK, I started another thread earlier about authorization problems
on a Macbook Pro 17" running Snow Leopard.

I have now narrowed the problem down a bit.

On the first install I installed Pro Tools 8.0.3, DV Toolkit 2 and Music Toolkit 2 one after the other.

Then upon starting up, although I could type into the authorization box when it came up, the buttons for "Authorize" or "cancel" would not work.
So Pro Tools was hung up and I had to force quit.

I noted on some other threads turning off Bluetooth. I turned that and Airport off.

Did clean uninstall and then reinstall. Repaired permissions.
Did not install DV Toolkit or Music Toolkit 2.

Pro Tools LE then worked fine. All functions seem to operate.

Then I installed DV Toolkit.
Big problem.

Neither the mouse nor track pad button "push/select" will work within the mix or edit windows. You can grab the mix and edit windows with the mouse and move them. You can pull down menus from the top menu bar and select them. You can operate the controls in dialogue boxes within Pro Tools that you might open up from the menu bar.

But you cannot operate any controls within the mix and edit windows.
You can move the mouse over them. The pointer WILL CHANGE CONTEXTUALLY as you move it over parts of the interface.

But you can't select anything, you can't grab any regions and move them.

I turned off Spotlight, Expose and Dashboard and all their keyboard shortcuts.

Since this is a laptop, I set the top row function keys to standard function, not the laptop shortcuts.

Still can't operate the mix or edit interfaces.

Is this a setting somewhere?
Did some Pro Tools setting default get set wrong?

Or is this a bug???

Any ideas???
