Default My pro tools wont load up...help!

My Pro Tools is not loading up. When I I double click on the icon it does nothing...not even bounce like it wants to load up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling...still didn't`t work.I even reinstalled my MacOS ( Mojave ver- 10.14.6)...and that didn't`t fix the issue. At this point I'm stuck...if someone could help me please. I'm so frustrated right now. I had yo cancel all of my sessions today!

Hi, Gonna need a lot more info. Start here: Help Us Help You and make sure you post your full system specs, Pro Tools version and do all the Troubleshooting and Optimizations described in that post.

Did you reformat your drive before reinstalling Mojave?

Do you not have a working backup of your OS/System drive?

HI....I`m using Pro Tools version 2021.12.
I`m also using a

iMac
Processor 4.2 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 24 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Running macOS Mojave version 10.14.6

I just reinstalled the Mojave operating system not the whole drive, because I didn't`t want to delete a lot of important files. Which answers the question on having a backup of my OS/System drive...I don't.
I also tried removing the pro tools folder in the document folder and that didn't`t work. Thanks for replying...

Not sure what's going on. Have you tried trashing preferences? You might try installing an earlier version of Pro Tools and see if that will work, or re-download a fresh copy of the installer in case the one you're installing from is corrupted. Not sure what interface you're using, but it'd be worth disconnecting it and reinstalling it's software.Worst case would be to reformat/reinstall the OS.

1) are you sure the icon you're double clicking is actually the ProTools program?

2) have you updated your iLok with the latest version?

3) are you using a physical iLok dongle?

4) are you SURE that the ProTools license is in your iLok account on your machine?

It appears that the OP is clicking on the Docked icon. Try opening from the Applications folder.

I have a number of versions installed. The Dock icon does not automagically represent the most current of the installs, it has to be specifically dragged to the Dock. If the OP has more than one version installed and did not Rename the Applications, I can imagine that the system would become confused and do nothing.
