Default "-" key no longer switches MIDI track from clips to notes SOLVED (duh)

In the past (up to 2019, roughly), using the "-" (minus) key would switch a MIDI track from notes to clips mode - really handy if you're working entirely in the Edit window. It seems to have disappeared, at least since PT2019.

I've found a few threads asking about this, but without any answers. Has it permanently vanished? It's a small, but very useful and time-saving command.

It doesn't work on my M1 Mini/Big Sur/PT 2021.7 machine, either.

EDIT: Found the issue. It only works on a track that you're actually in - i.e., the cursor is clicked and flashing in a particular track. Doesn't matter if the track itself is selected, you need to be actively editing the track, which makes sense, and, quite possibly, was how it worked in the past. Leaving this up in case someone else is having a brain fart on this "problem".

Thanks,

Myles

Glad it was helpful. It saves a lot of mousing around.
