Hi all...

I have just received an RMA number from Customer Care for the return of my S1. Instructions are to return the defective unit *after* receiving the new unit they are shipping.

One more question I wonder, are we KEEPING the new units, or are the defective S1s being repaired and shipped back to us?

Yes keep the replacement, once swapped thats it.

Thanks Eddie, just one final question.

Are the replacement units being shipped out Refurbished or are they New production line S1s?

Have to ask, as I can still return my S1s for a full refund, go back to my artist mixes until this all blows over.

This can't be one of the new units as they havent started to go out yet. Did you report a different issue...what's your case number and I'll investigate?

RMA-259943

I reported the issue as described in this thread and I also referred to your quote about the bad batch of ICs when describing my issue. I am somewhat glad the replacement unit is not supposed to work properly because I would have lost hope the issue can get fixed..
