Default Help!! bought laptop windows7
Hey guys Bought a new laptop all the specs are there..It has windows 7 I tried to install protools 6.9 disk that came with my 002r... then I would upgrade to le7..but it says disk needs xp to run???.. some people say get xp installed others say go to le8.. how do i get my 002 rack to run with windows 7.. are there FREE upgrades or work arounds..please help ty..

Well u definitely can't do it with Pro Tools anything except v8...

Either jump on the W7 public beta, which I wouldn't do at this point in time, or dual boot with XP for now. You'll need PT 8 for W7.

Windows 7 is great. Pick up a copy of PT8 LE update to 8.0.3 and get to work.

I have an extra copy of PT8 LE if you wish to purchase it. came with my 11 rack but I already own PT8. New and unused.
