Default HD Accel Card Compatible With HD Core/ Process

Could someone please confirm if I can run a Digidesign HD Accel Card PCI/PCI-X (NOT PCIe) with an existing HD2 rig (HD Core & HD Process card).
I currently run my HD2 rig on a G4 with Pro Tools version 5.3.1 software.
Would hate to purchase an Accel card and it not be compatible.

Yes, you can. Just install cards in right order I believe you have to have Accel cards before Process cards, but I might remember this wrong as I only have PCI-express cards...

Hi WayneG,
You may need to update to pt 6 or higher. I'd go with 6.9.3 or 7.3.1 cs2. I'm running 7.3.1cs2 and hd core + accel + process. lots of DSP.

You need PT 6.2 or higher for an Accel Card to work.
