Default What's up with Amplitube

So, I bought Amplitube 3 around mid-2013. Never really used it much, but decided to reinstall it today. Logged into my account for the first time in a couple of years and it appears my licence for Amplitube 3 has been replaced by Amplitube 4?

I installed Amplitube 4, registered it which all was pretty straight forward. Then when I go to use the App/Plugin I get an error splash screen saying that 'This feature is only available in Amplitube 4', but when I click on the lock button at the bottom I get a screen saying 'This product is already authorised, and is working with permanent unrestricted functionality, This is the serial number of your product 'XXXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXX'.

A little confused, any help or insight is appreciated.

That license replacement shouldn't have happened. I had Amplitube 3 installed on my system when Amplitube 4 came out. Purchased the upgrade to AT4 and I now have both on my computer. Something weird happened. Which exact version of AT4 did you get?

I've given up on IK plugs after I could figure out how to install just the basic TRacks plugins with out all the extras that you have to pay for.

You could do what I did and put them in the unused plugins folder or just delete them. But I understand your point - we should be given the option of only installing what was paid for. IK says they do what they do to make it easier to use the online Custom Shop for trials. I say it's lazy programming and a blatant tease we shouldn't have to put up with.

Yet one more developer who's not getting any more of my money.

Not specifically; the website is still showing December 2016.
