Default Any Euphonix MC Transport Users

Ok guys, I think I've made up my mind about the Euphonix Mix and Control. I'm not going to get them. I'm thinking about the MC Transport. What do you think? It looks like the "macro's" with the soft keys would be great... Maybe with a ProContol or C24?

It's big.

But it works great. Love the macros.

You can't combine HUI or EuCon specific functions with other HUI or EuCon functions, and/or modifiers, which creates some limitations. I'd love to create a "Back and Play" macro but nothing works quite right. Also I'd love to make the jog wheel do scrolling, but it only does paging, which is quite different.

But all in all it is really slick. I've used it in combination with both a procontrol and a duality and it improved both experiences. Definitely worth the $400. I just wish it was smaller!

Thanks uno1234,
I appreciate the post. Good info. That's what I'm looking for is the macro's. Can you post an example of your statement I quoted below:
"You can't combine HUI or EuCon specific functions with other HUI or EuCon functions, and/or modifiers, which creates some limitations."

Thanks

Hello Everyone.
Well I got the MC Transport today, along with 3 MC Mix's. I never opened the UPS shipment. I took it all to my local Guitar Center and returned it all. We did open the MC Transport box to check it out. But, when I felt that it wasn't as hardware durable as my old Mackie Big Knob that I use for demo tracking and monitoring, I said forget it and I returned it also. It did fell very "plasticy" and lightweight. Old ProControl will keep doing it for me for now. I'll wait and buy one of those MC Transports cheap someday on Ebay or Craigslist.
