Good Work!

Avid is looking mighty fine right about now. I look forward to Artist like thinking in Icon consoles.

P.S.
for those who fear the video aspects of integration, and being forced to having controls you'll never use, fear not, these pieces are so smart that they completely change the interface from one application to another.

Thank you and Congrats.
Avid, could you please address these questions, at least about PC compatibility for the artist series.

Thank you

This is great news. Hopefully everything from Euphonix stays. MC Mix working seamlessly with pro tools would be fantastic. And Eucon! I was seriously about to switch DAW's until I heard this.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help notice that your release states your intention to "continue to keep the Euphonix product line open to work with third-party products" including MOTU. That's great; I only wish that you would show that same spirit of openness to those of us who have used MOTU's Digital Performer as a front end for our ProTools rigs for as long as Euphonix has been in existence and were disappointed by your recent announcement to end support for third-party DAWs by MOTU and Apple.

With this new development,
Will we ever see Avid Open Up their current control surface Line up to third party products.

I use both Pro Tools and Logic from time to time.

I'd love to be able to use the C24 with both programs
as well as other products such as reason etc.

Its been interesting to see big majors in Pro Audio Industry coming together . This is one of the major turn out , hope this developement will help the professional audio. Euphonix has been making high quality hardware and user friendly professional consoles and I wish it exist as an entity still functions in their own thinking and use the ties only to further their plans faster and better AND not driven or influenced by other produts of AVID.

I know several people that would not call a System 5 friendly, they have a step learning curve.
