Default Anyone running Monterey 12.6.1?

Note I have conducted a forum search for "12.6.1" with zero results, so looks like I am the first to ask -

I just attempted to install 12.5.1 as per Avid recommendations about this being the latest supported OS. Of course Apple forced me to install 12.6.1 instead.

I am about to update Pro Tools to the latest version -

Has anyone had any issues?

Thanks

Been running it with Protools 22.10 with zero problems. As stable as it's ever been for me. Only times I've had any crashes have been plugin related

There are quite a few posts on the subject but the forum search isn't very good.

There are certainly quite a lot of people using 12.6.1 without trouble, including me.

You can download 12.5.1 from here if you want to downgrade, although I don't think it's worth it unless you are having problems.

These are Apple links, it's just the links are hosted on a 3rd party site, so no concerns about corrupted installers.

Thanks Dominic, yes I searched for "12.6.1" and also without quotations and literally zero results came up. No matter, though, I've run a couple of small tests and no issues with PT as yet. Wavearts Trackplug is the one glitch - it is basically broken in the latest PT. I spent about *4 hours* finding a way to install Mojave onto an external drive just so I could run PT12 and take screenshots of my Trackplug 5 settings so I can reprogram Trackplug 6 because *it can't even import saved settings from Trackplug 5". There's allllllways something. This is why I only upgrade my OS once every 4 years! It's never anything other than an epic *entire day* of f^&kery. Never. I honestly can't remember the last time I upgraded my OS and everything worked just fine.

I've seen this repeated like 500 times on the forums, over the years:

Google search:

site:duc.avid.com 12.6.1

See screenshot attached, see the many many results.

The general advice, repeated again and again and again is to use the site: search syntax on Google Search, because the DUC search isn't very good.

Learn this, and find what you want!!!!!
